What will the apprentice be doing?
- To maintain the College electronic filing systems for personnel and payroll files
- To maintain and update employee records on the HR/Payroll system
- To provide first class customer service by responding to general queries face to face, by telephone, by Microsoft Teams, and by email and passing on query to appropriate colleagues
- To support the HR team members with the administration and organisation of recruitment; induction; probation; performance reviews; attendance; wellbeing; contractual changes; maintenance of organisational charts; staffing establishment; and processing of leavers
- To provide support in producing management information in relation to the HR and payroll function and to complete external staff surveys as required
- To support the Payroll Co-ordinator with the administration and preparation of the monthly salary payment and pensions administration
- To assist with financial processes including raising purchase orders and processing invoices
- To comply with customer service standards
- To provide general office administration duties (filing, post, scanning etc)
- To carry out other such duties as may be determined from time to time within the scope of the post
