What will the apprentice be doing?
Undertaking the following tasks:

Electrical fitting activities on High Voltage switch gear, transformers and associated equipment

Installation of Control and protection equipment

Installation of Earthing Systems

Installation of outdoor equipment such as Bus Bar, Disconnectors and Switchgear

Maintenance of High Voltage equipment

Fault Finding on Low and High Voltage equipment

Receiving High Voltage documents

- Plus, mandatory qualifications and accreditations associated with the industry
- Where & When:
- 3 Year programme - Block release training with our provider in Manchester
- Quarterly development sessions delivered face to face and virtually
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Become a fully competent fitter within 5 years
- Ability to progress onto HNC qualification after 12 months of completing the apprenticeship (dependent on competency level and experience)
