What will the apprentice be doing?
Direct Responsibilities
- Leading and managing workstreams and small projects within a Trustwide Quality Improvement/Programme Management Consultancy Office, which will include engaging with a range of staff, patients and families, to ensure the service improvement is delivered on time and meets expectations
- The post holder will develop skills in how to analyse a problem.
- Develop skills on how to plan and deliver improvements, and how to manage projects.
- Identifying potential opportunities, diagnosing issues, proposing solutions and implementing changes and controls.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Full Improvement Practitioner Level 4 Standard
- All training to be delivered at the employer's premises
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Training and practical work experience in Quality Improvement methodologies and project management is highly sought after across many job sectors. Employment in the field of project management is mostly likely, but the skills are transferrable to general management careers too
