Industrial Construction (Sussex) Ltd, based in Rodmell, are recruiting for an Apprentice Estimating Team Administrator, to complete the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship. The purpose of the role is to provide support to the estimating team for the smooth running of the department.

What will the apprentice be doing?
We will teach you to do the following tasks:
Processing new enquiries:
- Booking in all enquiries, upload to Pipedrive and internal ‘H’ drive
- Requesting further information from the Client
- Assisting estimating team in monitoring deadlines
Setting up new & awarded projects on Eque2:
- Set up job folders/Recycling job folders
- Set up project briefings
- Set up pre-start meetings
Notifying Main Contractors if we are not submitting quotations:
- Chasing jobs on Pipedrive for all estimators
- Printing/scanning documents for job folders
- Bulk/purchase orders
- Arrange supplier meetings
- Organise material samples
- Update estimating board every Monday
- Update target jobs & monthly wins board, & excel sheet
- Weekly estimating meeting
Pipedrive:
- Weekly – sort out the leads box and assign jobs to estimators, set tasks & upload drawings
- General administrative support to the estimating team where necessary
- Knowledge of social media platforms advantageous to increase the visibility of the company’s social content
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- You will complete the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship standard
- This apprenticeship is completley based in the workplace and instead of coming into the college you will have an assessor that comes out to the workplace every 4-6 weeks
- Out of your working hours each week, 6 will be spent on training. Training is anything that is related to the apprenticeship. You will be asked to log you training
- Training will include meetings with your assessor, putting together your portfolio of evidence, mock assessments, shadowing other members of staff, being mentored, any in-house training and so on
- If you don't have a grade C/4 at GCSE maths and English or Level 2 Functional Skills you will have to undertake maths and English alongside the apprenticeship
- Final exams will take place at one of the college campuses
- Every 10-12 weeks there will also be workplace reviews between yourself, your employer and your assessor to go over your progress. This is to keep you on track with the apprenticeship
The employer will also provide:
- A full Staff Induction
- Systems and procedures training
- Specific task on the job training
- Social media training
- Product training

- There may be a full-time position avaliable at the end of the apprenticeship
