What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Manage & work through delivery, return & internal transfer exceptions to finalise fleet movements
  • Use of Spartan (Phalanx Portal) system to complete movement exceptions
  • Use Spartan to complete any unplanned movements
  • Use of M3 system to manually allocate or book in equipment
  • Monitor & update any missing check in & out fuel & meter readings
  • Allocation & reversal requests from our customer centre to accurately complete customer agreements
  • Depot cable change requests- perform necessary m3 adjustments
  • Assist in clearing outstanding distribution order lines
  • Plan stock checks with service managers based on financial calendar deadlines
  • Stock check preparation (e.g. m3 housekeeping- all items to be counted are in the correct place, outstanding booking in & out agreement lines checked, work order’s closed including parts etc.)
  • Raise stock check lists in m3 as per the agreed dates
  • Make any necessary amendments following investigations on variances
  • Reconcile all planned stock checks to the finance deadlines
  • Plan technicians labour activities as advised by Service Planning Team
  • Use Power BI reports to help plan activities & work on team targets
  • Use FSL reports/views to plan service activities to better impact performance/KPI’s

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Training will be at North Lindsey College where you will access a wide range of facilities on offer. 
  • Day release  
  • You will undertake the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship standard.

  • You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or maths if needed  
  • You will undertake both on and off the job training by a team of industry qualified professionals to give you the best skills, knowledge, and experience.

  • Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a higher-level apprenticeship or full-time employment for the right candidate.
