What will the apprentice be doing?
HG Group provides healthcare staffing solutions across the UK. The new apprentice will support the Compliance Team Leader and Compliance Manager in providing an efficient referral registration and processing service for the Trust.
Responsibilities include:
- Persistent chasing of health workers' compliance requirements, following up daily if needed. This includes chasing DBS, police checks and right to work
- Ensure all working candidates are fully referenced, specific to contractual requirements for each framework/client
- Ensure all working candidates’ compliance has not expired, this will involve chasing health workers for up-to-date compliance paperwork etc
- Entering details into the CRM system and keeping the information up to date
- Escalate all compliance issues immediately to senior management
- Other ad hoc admin duties as required
- No experience is required as full training will be provided
The successful candidate will need to possess excellent communication, time management and organisational skills and must be able to work under pressure. You must be confident speaking on the telephone to a range of people. This role will involve chasing nurses that have perhaps been on a 12 hour shift, so you may need to be tenacious to get what you need.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Full on-the-job and off-the-job training will be delivered supported by our Training Provider - Davidson Training UK Ltd
- All training will be carried out within the workplace during working hours
- Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard Level 3
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and mathematics (if you already do not hold the equivalent)
- Full training will be given leading to a recognised Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Further progression to be discussed at the end of the apprenticeship. Opportunities may well be available in other areas within our sector, upon successful completion of Business administrator Level 3.
