What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls - these vary from standard payrolls to variable hours.

  • Processing subcontractor payments - Including generating CIS statements.

  • Drafting emails to clients requesting payroll information and sending the payroll documents.

  • General administration duties.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

During the level 3 payroll administration apprenticeship you will be based at our offices in Tiverton and will receive ongoing training and support from SMV Associates Limited and Smart Training & Recruitment.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon successful completion of the level 3 payroll administration apprenticeship you would be given full support from SMV Associates and would hopefully progress to a level where you could process a section of payroll's with little supervision. Once qualified, it is hoped that you could take on running the whole payroll department.
