We are a fast growing firm of accountants. We are an ACCA approved employer & have a good support system to help the apprentice develop their careers & move up the ladder. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a career in a payroll bureau within a firm of qualified accountants. You will be processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls - these vary from standard payrolls to variable hours.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls - these vary from standard payrolls to variable hours.
Processing subcontractor payments - Including generating CIS statements.
Drafting emails to clients requesting payroll information and sending the payroll documents.
General administration duties.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
During the level 3 payroll administration apprenticeship you will be based at our offices in Tiverton and will receive ongoing training and support from SMV Associates Limited and Smart Training & Recruitment.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon successful completion of the level 3 payroll administration apprenticeship you would be given full support from SMV Associates and would hopefully progress to a level where you could process a section of payroll's with little supervision. Once qualified, it is hoped that you could take on running the whole payroll department.
