What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Get to understand Fluid Power Services’ products and services in great detail
  • Build working relationships
  • Understand the needs of your customers and their expectations
  • Research the market and related products
  • Have a good telephone manner as you will need to respond to incoming emails and phone enquiries
  • Negotiate terms of the sales agreement with both the sales staff and customers
  • Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions
  • Check the quantities of goods on display and in stock
  • Ensure all details on the operating system are up to date and utilise any data shortages on the system to draw up reports
  • Raise quotations for customers and the sales team
