What will the apprentice be doing?
Main duties will include:
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
- Photocopying and scanning of documents
- Meet and greet internal colleagues and external clients, receiving telephone calls/ensuring messages are accurately recorded and forwarded to the correct person
- To support the management of meeting room bookings and to facilitate those meetings
- To communicate effectively with colleagues and clients in relation to work undertaken to ensure an effective admin service
- To work with others on the improvement of administrative procedures including the planning and organisation of new processes
- To gain a good understanding of policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity etc and meet their requirements
- Work in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Proofreading, editing and distribution of documents
- Active daily use of company social media channels
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel
- Strong desire to learn
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Polite and approachable manner
- Confident in the use of the telephone for making/receiving calls
- Proactive and positive attitude
- Must be able to understand and work in accordance with confidentiality
