What will the apprentice be doing?
To advise existing and potential new customers on the best value parts and consumables for their individual applications, maintaining an excellent standard of service whilst also endeavouring to upsell related products from approved suppliers.
- Work to branch sales & margin targets
- Assist the branch in completing daily, weekly, monthly tasks as specified by the branch manager, to include warehouse, goods in and out
- Maintain accurate control of individual stock
- Advise customers on the best value, correct parts/consumables whilst also endeavouring to upsell related products from approved suppliers
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills if required.
You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession. You will experience a blended learning model, delivered by a dedicated delivery specialist with workplace sessions and some classroom delivery. You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio.
At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
For the right candidate, we will continue to invest in your personal and career development using higher level apprenticeship programmes or short courses along with in-house training.
