New starters under 21 years old will receive £12,632 per annum. After 12 months service, this increases to £16,394 per annum. Entrants aged over 21 years old will receive the Foundation Living Wage - £21,029

What will the apprentice be doing?
· Identifying learning needs
· Creating and delivering appropriate training interventions
· Liaising with internal colleagues and providing administrative support
· Providing a professional service for our NKDC colleagues, either on the telephone, in person or via electronic communication
· Networking with NKDC colleagues and other apprentices
· Preparation and presentation of a corporate project to our Senior Management Team
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The successful candidate will work towards Apprenticeship Standard: Learning and Development Practitioner, Level 3.
Training delivery is remote and consists of a live digital classroom session every other week for 1.5 hrs.
Individuals will be assigned their own development coach, who they should book in with at least every 7 weeks.
Learners will have access to their own digital portal to submit work and complete associated activities.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The successful candidate will gain valuable insight into the workings of the Council to enable them to apply for either a role in learning and development, or another creative role within the organisation, as vacancies arise
