New starters under 21 years old will receive £12,632 per annum. After 12 months service, this increases to £16,394 per annum. Entrants aged over 21 years old will receive the Foundation Living Wage - £21,029

What will the apprentice be doing?
· Working in the Customer Contact Centre handling incoming telephone calls
· Receiving customers in person at the reception of the council offices, Sleaford
· Working with our Multimedia Team to learn about how customers use our website
· Networking with NKDC colleagues and other apprentices
· Preparation and presentation of a corporate project to our Senior Management Team
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The successful candidate will work towards Apprenticeship Standard: Customer Service Practitioner, Level 2.
You will be assigned a tutor who will plan an individual learning programme with you. Your tutor is responsible for training and supporting you to ensure that you have the knowledge, skills and behaviours to be able to successfully undertake your End Point Assessment to achieve your qualification. You will have regular tutorials each month and you will use online learning resources to support your learning.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The successful candidate will gain valuable insight into the workings of the council to enable them to apply for either a role in customer services, or another customer-facing role within the organisation, as vacancies arise.
