With appropriate training, the purpose of this role is to generate candidates for placement into temporary and permanent assignments as obtained by the Sales Team.

What will the apprentice be doing?

1. Organise and plan weekly activity including:

  • Candidate registrations.
  • Candidate generation.
  • Compliance checks, data entry and activations.
  • Advertising vacancies and administrative tasks including scanning, faxing, etc.

2. Quality and legislation including;Full understanding of company quality and procedures:

  • Up to date knowledge of acceptable eligibility in accordance with the Home Office/Department of Immigration, undertaking eligibility to work checks and monitoring and recording candidate's immigration status.

3. To source and manage an active pool of candidates who are actively looking for work, ensuring the pool is available to fill vacancies and/or assignments:

  • Assess the suitability of candidates for registrations.
  • Register, interview, test and reference candidates.
  • Hold interviews in local job centres.
  • Manage candidates’ visit times and incoming calls.
  • Maintain regular candidate contact and fully inform candidates about prospective positions.
  • Update candidate database with general contact details and candidate work availability.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Recruitment Resourcer, which includes:

  • Modules covering Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours in Recruitment Resourcing.
  • You'll have a personal tutor to guide you through your training.
  • You will attend 1:1 sessions with your tutor every 2/3 weeks.
  • End Point Assessment (online exams).
  • Occasional group classes with other learners.
  • L2 certificate in Recruitment Resourcing (CertRR).
  • Access to REC E-Learning materials.
