What will the apprentice be doing?
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Keying in mortgage applications on behalf of the adviser
- Reviewing, updating tracking and monitoring of each processing stage in line with our internal processes
- Provide key facts illustrations along with other documentation to clients and other stakeholders as required
- Dealing with incoming correspondence from clients, lenders, partners
- Ensuring acceptance of terms and mortgage offers are received promptly and checking against application data and/or KFI
- Analysing customer applications and making recommendations
- Self processing AIPs and Apps
- Dealing with incoming correspondence from clients, lenders, partners
As the company is expanding we are looking to free up more time for our brokers. In the role you will be expected to do the following:
- Processing mortgage business to ensure that all standards are achieved professionally and compliantly
- Submission of business
- Arranging meetings with clients, diary management
- Overseeing the sales and compliance
- Working closely with the Brokers
- Point of contact for lenders, solicitors and also the clients
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Mortgage Adviser Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
- Fully and part funded learning and development programme that includes the CertCII
(MP) Certificate in Mortgage Advice, which includes
• CF1 Financial Services, Regulation & Ethics
• CF6 Mortgage Advice - Develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of successful Mortgage Advisers

- Includes the CII CF1 & CF6 study books and exam entry
- Fortnightly workshops for the CII exams from our CII approved trainer
