What will the apprentice be doing?

Key tasks:

  • To remain professional and courteous and prioritise work tasks appropriately
  • To carry out routine operational tasks related to cases
  • To develop a sound understanding of the role of PLE Health within the personal injury and healthcare sectors, and the services that can be offered to clients
  • Providing some necessary operational functions, including dealing with telephone enquiries, emails and post to the office relating to new and ongoing cases
  • Chase responses from psychologists in order to comply with service standards.

Who We are Looking For:

The ideal qualities we are looking for is someone resourceful with drive, determination and enthusiasm, who will enjoy and flourish working as part of an exciting team. We encourage initiative and being able to work independently as well as in a team.

The post would suit someone with some experience in administration or skills related to customer services. A general interest in mental health and psychology would be beneficial.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard:

A standard contains a list of the skills, knowledge and behaviours an apprentice will need to have learned by the end of their apprenticeship
A portfolio will be compiled throughout the apprenticeship to reflect this and will include evidence collated from the work place such as, but not limited to, emails, letters, reports, presentations, appraisal information, and witness testimonies.

To achieve the full Level 3, all units of the Diploma must be passed, meeting the assessment criteria. College attendance for the delivery of the diploma is mandatory for all apprentices.
