An exciting opportunity to begin a career in engineering working at Albert Bartlett in North Walsham. The role offers opportunity to learn, develop and gain a broad range of skills to become a multi skilled Engineer. You will learn to undertake installation, routine, preventative & reactive maintenance work on a wide range of electrical systems.

What will the apprentice be doing?
The Engineering Apprentice will:
- Ensure that all college assignments are completed on time.
- Assist the shift maintenance engineers with breakdowns, repairs and planned maintenance as instructed, documenting all supervised work for their portfolio.
- Carry out projects as instructed and to the apprentice plan.
- Carry out all works within their guidelines of competence and adhere to health and safety policy.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship is primarily delivered in the workplace with 1 extended day a week attendance at college for the first two years.
Level 3 Engineering Technician - Mechatronics Apprenticeship Standard; L2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence); L3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) Mechatronics Maintenance Technician.
