What will the apprentice be doing?
Assisting the HR Manager with the running of the HR Department, it is a fast-paced environment and every day is different with confidentiality being a key component.
Full on-the-job training and support in obtaining your qualification will be provided.
General duties would include;
· Monitoring staff attendance daily by using our clocking in/out system.
· Updating various spreadsheets to include new starters/leavers/absences/fire lists.
· Sending letters such as successful probations, and recruitment letters.
· Issuing contracts of employment and monitoring if they have been signed and returned.
· Maintaining staff records.
· Maintaining holiday system.
· Assisting with any projects that may arise.
· General office duties including answering the telephone and maintaining filing systems.
This is a new role and will develop with the successful applicant.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Formal training is delivered at HWGTA, located in Holmer Road (HR4 9SX).
You will receive training a training plan that is specific to your qualification, with sessions that are delivered through a combination of face-to-face and remote.
Additional training for functional skills in English and Maths will be undertaken if needed.
You will receive monthly visits from your assigned Learning and Development Specialist, who will set you work, monitor your development and well-being, and discuss training sessions. They will also prepare you for your End Point Assessment to gain your Business Administration qualification.
There is also a five-day optional teambuilding residential trip that is held in spring of each year.
