What will the apprentice be doing?

Due to exciting growth in the business, we are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant Apprentice to join our team. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful person will use their knowledge to complete a variety of general bookkeeping tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Using our data capture software to scan and upload receipts
  • Coding and approving purchase invoices and publishing them to our bookkeeping software
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • Checking accounts payable compared with outstanding bank transactions
  • Using our ‘clean up’ tool which highlights any errors

Given the important focus on technology in our business, high levels of IT literacy are especially important, specifically in Excel (including experience in using advanced functions).
