What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Preparing payroll information (overtime, SSP, salary changes, etc) for submission to accountants for processing
  • Ensuring all new starter paperwork is completed correctly, up to date and uploaded onto the in-house HR system
  • Collecting and filing of all purchase invoices received in an orderly manner to passed to the finance team for uploading onto the accounting software
  • In the longer term, helping to install an efficient goods in and goods out process and to assist in the management of this

Things to consider

The ability to tackle both existing and new tasks as required is essential. A good understanding of general business operations and processes or a willingness to want to understand these would also be required.

About the employer

Remedi Solutions is a distance selling pharmacy that deals predominantly with the supply of prescription drugs to care homes. We deal with many care homes throughout the UK so therefore has a large customer base to deal with. On the back of this we also have a large number of suppliers to deal with to ensure all information is received, uploaded correctly and payments are made on time. To help us support the business we have a team of staff so it is important that all employee information is gathered, sufficient processes are in place to confirm attendance overtime, etc and most importantly ensure they are paid correctly. The business is showing great signs and growth and will continue to do so.
