What will the apprentice be doing?
We're looking for a Customer Account Manager to join our Sales Team to help our customers bring their products to market. Your key goal is to manage inside sales activities to help customers master all the complex details of packaging. You'll serve as a knowledgeable, reliable point of contact for any information required by the customer. Duties will include: 1. Assists external sales team on general enquiries as well as driving new project developments forward. 2. Updates and provides customer order schedule reports as requested or directed. 3. Oversees and directs weekly follow up on all active projects and queries. 4. Develops an ongoing relationship with customers and vendors. 5. Keeps customers up to date on all orders. 6. Coordinates the receipt of customer purchase orders whilst assuring associated paperwork is completed. 7. Oversees the preparation and accuracy of sales orders, and acknowledgements as well as managing through to delivery for the customers. 8. Oversight of processes and maintains paperwork for sales orders. 9. Provides sales support, which includes getting pricing from purchasing team, requesting quotes from external sales team, requesting samples, and follow-up on all orders and projects. 10. Facilitate and manage sample requests, including new customer artwork. 11. Oversee and investigate any customer disputes or queries. 12. Assist in credit control along with any required paperwork. 13. Assist and work alongside quality control to manage all customer quality control aspects. 14. Performs to all standard Operating Procedures in the correct format as well as regular reviews to maintain accuracy. 15. Leads and facilitates customer telephone calls for general communication, alongside any departmental enquiries. 16. Assists other sales representatives as necessary, as well as assistance with additional projects as they arise. 17. Other duties as assigned
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
It all starts with an exceptional training program spanning classroom, online, and hands-on collaboration with other consultants.? You will learn our business, our industry, the sales process, where to gain leads, how to best utilize our database, and how customer cycles work. You will work towards a Customer Services level 3 Apprenticeship for the first 18 months.
