We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.

We’re proud of what we do, that’s what makes a career with us unlike any other.

You will be responsible for:

  • Logging reactive works for site teams on a helpdesk system

  • Filing documents via SharePoint
  • Organising training for all staff

One of the best things about an Apprenticeship with us is that you don’t need to have experience of working in a facilities environment. However, you will need to share our passion for these and demonstrate your desire to develop yourself within this exciting area.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a nationally recognised Business Administration Level 3 Standard via our training partner, Learning Skills Partnership
  • Your Apprenticeship typically takes 18 months to complete and is fully supported through a combination of regular online lessons, e-learning materials, and access to their team of experts for 1-2-1 advice and support
  • Within Amey, you’ll be partnered with a “buddy” to assist you as you settle into your new role within our business support team, helping answer all those initial questions you may have. Once you’ve settled in, you will be allocated a mentor who will support you throughout your Apprenticeship, helping you develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • At the end of your Apprenticeship, you will move into a guaranteed permanent position with Amey, and your development does not stop there!
