What will the apprentice be doing?

The Business Administration Apprentice will be responsible for: 

  • Handling personal data and storing information in accordance with Data Protection
  • Accurately completing learner paperwork
  • Updating MIS systems and Excel trackers
  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks e.g. posting certificates
  • Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing; inputting confidential data
  • Creating spreadsheets
  • Keeping the main social media up to date 
  • Screening phone calls, enquiries, and requests, and handling them when appropriate
  • Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments 
  • Dealing with incoming emails and post
  • Carrying out background research and presenting findings
  • Producing documents, and presentations
  • Attending meetings
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other staff
  • Carrying out specific projects and research
  • Marketing new courses 
  • Organising events
  • Attending paperwork training with CST members
  • Attending job fairs and job centres
  • Creating marketing material such as flyers 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Upon achievement of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will gain the Level 3 Business Administrator qualification
  • Functional Skills maths and English if required

Administration/ Office Assistant/ office administrator/Data Processing roles
 
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to formally join the team as an Office Administrator if you have demonstrated that you are business minded, enthusiastic and a highly motivated team player.
