What will the apprentice be doing?

Main duties will include:

  • Prepare and check all paperwork associated with new starters
  • Create and maintain employee file’s (eFiles)
  • Prepare all paperwork associated with leavers and archive eFile’s
  • Raise purchase requisitions
  • Support Plant Assistant role during planned and unplanned absence periods
  • Maintain and update relevant HR systems
  • Perform data-entry, documentation, printing and scanning duties
  • Gather data for and complete weekly, monthly HR Reports
  • Liaise with external service providers

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Business Administrator Standard (delivered within the workplace).

Option to include Diploma in Business Administration (delivered through online workshops once a fortnight).

Functional skills in maths and English up to Level 2 (if required).

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Potential for permanent position if available on completion.

Potential options to progress onto a HR specific apprenticeship on completion.
