What will the apprentice be doing?
To carry out general administration duties including but not limited to:
- Operating the switchboard.
- General office duties.
- Assisting Service Desk with a variety of administration tasks.
- The costing of job sheets.
- The production of monthly consolidated customer invoices.
- The compilation of monthly warranty reports.
- The compilation of vehicle handover forms.
- Maintenance of customer and asset database.
Roles and responsibilities may change from time to time based on business requirements. The role may also incorporate some general duties not specified, and you will be requested to provide support where applicable for other departments during staff absences or busy periods.
To complete and update all business & job production systems and records.
To ensure all work undertaken for OBP is quality controlled and QC records are kept and updated.
To be fully conversant with all Health and Safety procedures and to implement and comply with them, reporting any non-conformance through the agreed channels.
To ensure that the Company’s resources are used cost effectively on all projects and that waste is identified and solutions advised.
Whilst in the field and working on site to act as a responsible and professional ambassador for OBP and always protect the OBP brand & reputation in all activities.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The successful candidate will work towards a level 2 qualification in customer service.
Apprentices will be required to have or achieve level 1 English and Maths and to have taken level 2 English and Maths tests prior to completion of their Apprenticeship.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
To be discussed on completion of the apprenticeship.
