What will the apprentice be doing?
- Working on the helpdesk, dealing with customers’ IT issues and ensuring helpdesk systems, logs and records are kept up to date
- Providing an initial analysis and working to provide a first fix for the customer whenever possible
- Escalating issues and alerting a senior member of staff as appropriate
- Being aware of Service Level Agreements and monitoring performance against them
- Being able to diagnose technical faults quickly and accurately using the remote access diagnostic tools available

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Most apprentices end up staying with the business for the long term. As an employer we are happy to continue to support learning, this can mean going from Level 3 to Level 4 or above. We are currently supporting apprentices through degrees and a Masters track also available. We look for candidates that like to continue to learn and progress throughout their career.
