We are looking to recruit an apprentice Administration Assistant to join our team with the purpose of supporting both the Business Development and Administration / Finance teams. The role will be varied and challenging with the opportunity to progress into a Business Development role. Supporting and engaging with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Advertising apprentice vacancies on the
- Provider Portal and updating the system on a daily basis
- Carrying out matching criteria re apprentice applicants, then arranging virtual pre-screening interviews with Access Training, maintaining open/closed vacancy activity on the system
- Provide a high level customer service for Business Development and wider teams ensuring effective co-ordination with advisors, learners, trainers and management/customers using varied methods of telephone, email and in writing to agreed customer service standards
- Support Business Development & Marketing Manager with performance reporting and ad-hoc reports when required. Also prepare reports on interview numbers for the monthly BD meetings
- Support with marketing and sales promotional activity whenever required, to include attending events
- Use of the Learner Record Service to identify candidates qualifications and pull off learner achievement reports/seeking learner permission to do so
- Saving CVs onto the company network in readiness for emailing to employers in line with data protection regulations
- Forwarding learner CVs to employers, and arranging interviews as requested by the employer. Then providing feedback to candidates after the interviews
Requesting that accept/decline letters be emailed to learners following their Access screening interview - Inviting learners for induction, and arranging for an invite to be sent, also arranging employer start date
- Setting up learner evidence folders, and moving across to the ‘live’ folder when successful
- Updating vacancies on our company website
- Upkeep of ESF learner records including learner start and completion paperwork
Maintaining and tracking ESF learner evidence packs - Contacting employers and learners via email and telephone to chase missing evidence
- General reception / administration duties
- Maintenance of archiving processes

Training provided by Access Training one day a month, Business Administration L3 to be awarded.
