What will the apprentice be doing?
Under the supervision of a senior member of staff you will undertake a technical support role across our civil, structural and ground engineering teams. The role will involve working closely with the project engineer on the day to day running of projects, focussing on highway and drainage designs, building foundations and superstructure design and ground engineering.
As part of the team at Jubb you will be supported throughout your apprenticeship through our Learning Pathways programme. This provides structured support to your learning through various programmes such as personal development planning, strengths profiling, regular progress reviews and on-the-job learning.
·Preparation of technical drawings and sketches in AutoCAD ·
Assist with the production of Engineering models utilising Civils 3D, Revit, Microdrainage and other similar software, aiding in the preparation of BIM information
·Preparation of supporting calculations and documents
·Attend in-house and external training courses, as and when required
·Ensure the company complies with statutory obligations, including CDM and Health & Safety
·Actively pursue your professional development

Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard. Level 3 BTEC in Construction in the Built Environment
The apprenticeship course will be delivered from Exeter College's Future Skills Centre, near Exeter Airport

Following successful completion of the Level 3 Apprenticeship for the right candidate there will be opportunity to progress to Level 4 and onwards to degree level and professional qualifications.
