What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Work with the digital and income generation teams to provide support on social media management.
  • Designing logos, flyers and branded materials.
  • Designing and producing content for company newsletters.
  • Setting up and styling web pages and content.
  • Creating and adapting imagery and materials using industry leading tools such as Photoshop and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Updating company social media accounts including Twitter, Facebook.
  • Working with the latest content platform.
  • Creating websites using HTML & CSS language.
  • Representing the company at events; creating material for these events.
  • Reporting/analytics of marketing activities to aid senior staff members in the decision making processes.
  • Liaise with teams and communicate with others both orally and in writing as presenting ideas will be required
  • Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection. Equal opportunities, race equality, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
  • Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school and Trust

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

This apprenticeship is recognised for entry on to the Register of IT Technicians and those completing their apprenticeships are eligible to apply for registration.

Completion of the apprenticeship would also allow access to join as an Affiliate (Professional) member of the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) and/or Associate membership of BCS.

* A proven passion for digital and social media. * Previous Web design, development, graphic design experience would be desirable as full training will be given. * Some web design programming experience would be highly desirable. * A level 2 apprenticeship or other relevant qualifications/ experience. *Ability to travel between sites is essential
