What will the apprentice be doing?
- To assist customers and engineers
- Identify and source the correct parts for the machines
- Participate in product campaigns & promotions
- Telephone, email and front counter sales & enquiry handling.
- Stock control
- Stock changes update
- Parts identification from customer enquiries using OEM online catalogues
- To ensure customer satisfaction and retention through efficient and effective service and good communication
- To respond to customer enquiries for parts availability & prices, complaint handling and issue credit notes where necessary
- To process customer orders through the mainframe system accurately and on a timely basis meeting delivery expectations/minimising delay
- To keep customers advised of their order status
- To work with the Parts Manager identifying customer opportunities and stock requirements
- To minimise accidents
- Liaise with other departments and colleagues to ensure customer requirements are met e.g., credit control, service, JCB sales, service and customer services
