What will the apprentice be doing?
Our warehouse & logistics apprentices will receive practical training in our end-to-end supply chain process and be involved in organising the storage and distribution of goods to ensure the right products are delivered to the right location on time, every time.
If you love working as part of a team, have a passion for analysis, attention to detail and want the chance to help us innovate our supply chain then this is the apprenticeship for you.
Work activities will include:
- Taking deliveries, checking for damaged/missing items
- Storing goods and moving stock by various methods
- Picking and packing orders for customers
- Loading goods for dispatch
- Maintaining stock records and documentation
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- You will gain a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative qualification as well as a Fork-lift Truck Licence
- Training will be block release for Year 1 and Day release for Year 2
- You will be trained to safely use a range of equipment, machinery and vehicles, relevant to your role and setting. This could include mechanical racking systems, materials handling equipment (MHE) and fork lift trucks

At the end of your programme, if you have successfully completed your apprenticeship and achieved the performance targets, we have set for you, you are guaranteed a permanent role with us.
