What will the apprentice be doing?

To take ownership of building and maintaining customer relationships whilst working towards sales and company goals. This is to include but not be limited to:

  • Demonstrating a positive, flexible, helpful attitude with leadership, communication, and planning
  • Maintain and help to manage the trade counter area
  • To achieve targeted revenues and profitability targets set by the senior management.
  • Ensuring that customers are fully aware of all our capabilities and range
  • Supporting the sales department, by handling incoming telephone calls and emails
  • Offer solutions to our customers problems, through strategic thinking and excellent product and print knowledge
  • Works with the sales team to assist in accurately providing estimates for customers
  • Assist with the management of a CRM system to aid the sales team
  • Displays excellent data entry skills, fast and accurate with meticulous attention to detail and high levels of concentration
  • Handling customer objections and complaints and passing information on to a senior member of the team if required.
  • Accurately evaluating the customers’ requirements and feeding back information in timely manner to required parties
  • Pass forward any leads to the sales team
  • Promotes a ‘can do’ and helpful mentality within the team
  • Shows an understanding and compassion for the other departments within the business
  • Participating in 121’s and annual appraisals. Agreeing objections and managing training need

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be towards the level 3 Business Administrator qualification.

Training will be one day a week.

Training centre is located at CDC training, cricket inn road, Sheffield S2 1TR. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Opportunities to move into a full-time position upon completion of apprenticeship.
