What will the apprentice be doing?
- Assisting with HR Administrative tasks including responding to emails and typing correspondence
- Support with maintaining the Company’s HR Information System
- Support Payroll and HR Administrator with consolidating data for monthly payroll
The apprentice will be a part of a small professional HR team that works across 2 offices but will predominately support the Group HR Business Partner who is responsible for the Vapouriz colleagues based in Normandy, Surrey
They will become the first point of contact for our colleagues and managers providing administrative support in a professional manner. They will play an important role in maintaining electronic employee data and administer people changes in line with the employees’ journey. Processing offers of employment and contracts, actioning reference requests are just some examples of correspondence.
They will also be involved in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires which may include first sift of CV’s and forwarding to hiring managers.
The role with vary from day to day creating an ideal opportunity for someone who has a desire to progress their career within Human Resources.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
The candidate will complete an apprenticeship within the agreed
subject for the vacancy.
This may include
- A BTEC Diploma/Standard and End Point Assessment and Functional Skills in maths, English and ICT
- The above will be delivered by Weir Training Limited
- Day to day training will be provided by members of the current HR function
- The training will take place ‘on the job’ at our site in Normandy, Surrey which is where the role will be based
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- If the apprentice is keen to progress a career within HR, there may be the opportunity to qualify at Level 3 CIPD (beginner) or higher depending on other qualifications the apprentice may have on entry
