What will the apprentice be doing?
· CMP Products - electrical cable glands, cable cleats and associated products
· BEL Engineering - engineering service provider of sub-contract machining, assembly and test
· Michell Bearings - hydrodynamic bearing manufacturer
· Rotary Power - hydraulic motors and pumps, and hydraulic power units
· BEL Valves - high integrity valves, actuators and controls
· Stephenson Gobin - electromagnetic clutches and brakes, and fire safety products
· Stadium Export Service - export service and industrial packing solutions
· Tyne Pressure Testing - specialist pressure testing facilities, testing to extreme pressures
The role:
· To provide administrative support within the HR & Training Department.
· Undertake general administrative duties associated with the HR Systems: scanning, filing etc.
· Support and monitor processes, issuing documentation and monitoring responses
· Be responsible for the Archive Room, organisation and housekeeping.
· Monitor the HR Team mailbox and distribute to members of the HR team.
· Diary control of department’s functions: organising meetings, booking rooms etc.
· Assist with any ad hoc duties for other members of the Department including the recruitment process.
· Assisting with new training projects as appropriate.
· Ensure that you work in a safe manner and comply with the company’s Health, Safety & Environmental Policy
· To carry out any other duties not listed above as may reasonably be expected.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- You will work towards the HR support Level 3 apprenticeship standard.
- Training will be given as and when it is required. We have a focus on health & safety across the business and will provide such training as required.
- The apprentice will shadow experienced HR & training administrators to ensure they have a thorough understanding before being given their own workload.
- We are committed to ensuring the apprentice receives adequate training and is comfortable in their everyday duties.
