What will the apprentice be doing?
Main Responsibilities
- Making outbound calls to convert prospective student (warm) leads into applications for study.
- Developing and sustaining solid relationships with prospective students and company stakeholders.
- Reaching out to prospective students who have submitted an interest in our courses, with the aim of supporting them through the application process, through to enrolment.
- Analysing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services, managing complaints accordingly and in a timely manner, escalating where needed and following GBS complaint procedure.
- Ensure customer data is recorded accurately and in a timely fashion into all appropriate systems.
- Support the development of the student journey by identifying and reporting back on issues and trends.
- Travel to other GBS campuses may be required from time to time, in accordance with business need.

The successful candidate will complete a Customer Service Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard: -
Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Standard
Functional Skills Level 2 in maths – if applicable
Functional Skills Level 2 in English – if applicable
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Excellent progression available within the company. The successful applicant will undertake more responsibilities as the Apprenticeship develops with a strong view to securing permanent employment on completion.
