Our Customer Service department act as a first point of contact for our customers, our drivers and our internal teams including commercial, planning and operations. You will be an integral part of the Stobart business and responsible for the full life cycle of a customer order from creation and booking, to completion and invoicing.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Throughout the apprenticeship you will learn skills which are essential to your role, but will also form part of your lifelong career journey. We pride ourselves on developing colleagues and can commit to additional training and development opportunities, well after you’ve completed your apprenticeship.

The role of a Customer Service Advisor (Apprentice) is to manage the bookings, organisation of consignment and deal with queries in an efficient and professional manner. Maintaining professional relationships and being a trusted contact for Stobart customers. Your actions will influence the customer experience and their satisfaction with our organisation, you must always demonstrate excellent behaviours and customer service skills.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Upon successful completion, you will gain a L2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard.

This is 1:1 in the work place as there is no on-site/campus delivery. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Once you have successfully completed the Level 2 apprenticeship, there is opportunity to progress onto a Level 3 apprenticeship within CS or another department within the business. Many of our advisors progress onto Lead Advisors and Customer Service Managers.
