- Key worker responsibilities
- Care and education role for children throughout the nursery but especially within your specific room
- Curriculum planning

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard
- Functional Skills in maths & English (if required)
All apprenticeship training is to be delivered within the workplace.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Progression opportunities available upon completion of the apprenticeship.
All staff members are expected to achieve a level 3 early years qualification.
