What will the apprentice be doing?
- Manage incoming phone calls
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- You will be working towards a level 2 customer practitioner standard qualification
- Training will be a minimum of 1 day at week
- Training centre location is CDC Training, manor Lane, cricket-inn road, Sheffield, S2 1TR
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
After you complete the apprenticeship, there will be opportunities for you to move in to a full time role with Sheffield City Council dependant on your achievement and performance.
