What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Analyse MRP output
  • Create and manage production orders
  • Process stock transfers
  • Manage stock levels
  • Smooth capacity demand ensuring efficient flow of work
  • Prepare and distribute production schedules
  • Monitor and alert for demand spikes
  • Coordinate with customer services, purchasing, production and warehousing
  • Check supply chain status and effects on production
  • Maintain excellent timekeeping record at both the training centre and in the workplace
  • Complete all necessary technical qualifications and diplomas on time and to the correct standard
  • Individuals must be able to work alone and as part of a team
