What will the apprentice be doing?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a caring growing company and team. This opportunity will require a motivated, determined and enthusiastic person who can show they are keen to learn and impress, a determined flexible individual who wants to show they take pride in completing every task to a high standard. The successful candidate will be customer focused and will carry out day to day admin duties. You will be expected to turn your hand to various jobs whilst maintaining a professional attitude at all times. So, if you're an organised individual with good communication skills, this is the perfect job for you.
Essential Functions & Basic Duties:
- Incoming and outgoing calls dealing with customers
- Transferring calls to the correct person and taking accurate messages
- Use the company be-spoke system
- Making appointments and inputting data
- IT duties including accurate emails
- To photocopy, collate and distribute documents as required
- Operate fax machine as required
- Process prescription requests and giving out patient prescriptions to the right recipient
- Organise and report data
- Postal duties include sorting, distributing and franking appropriately and accurately
- Filing and maintaining internal documents
- Store and retrieve information
- Scanning document
- Providing refreshments in turn
- Setting up doctors' surgery ready for next day
- Typing duties
- Preparing medical records
- Be aware of the implications of Practice Policies, especially those relating to confidentiality and data protection
- Undertake other duties as required

- Customer Service Practioner Level 2 Standard
- In house training
- Maths and English Functional Skills, if applicable
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Progression onto level 3 after completion of level 2 and after completion of all qualifications a fantastic opportunity for a full time job for the right person.
