What will the apprentice be doing?
Overall Job Role
The Recruitment Resource Apprentice will be the first point of contact for potential learners interested in FIRST programmes and is responsible for all related administration, ensuring a meaningful and supportive recruitment process for every learner. The Recruitment Resource Apprentice will have responsibility for the recruitment support for all FIRST education activities and projects. Directed by the Senior Recruitment Officer, responsibilities will include:
- Working with referral partners to recruit learners and participants to FIRST projects
- Track and monitor referrals and ensure conversions onto course
- Attend recruitment and career fairs for recruitment
- Monitor and track learners again contractual targets
- Attend networking events for recruitment and referral partners
- Feedback learner engagement to referral partners
- Maintain learner engagement and hand over to the Learning team
- Distribution of marketing material
- Complete social media posts for recruitment purposes
Other:
- Any other requirements needed to fulfil FIRST projects
- Undertake relevant training, including safeguarding and PREVENT
- Remain up to date with guidance related to education, training and learning relevant to the FIRST programmes and offers.

- Recruitment Resourcer Level 2 qualification
- Inhouse training to be provided by the employer
- Apprentices must achieve level 1 English and maths and take the test for level 2 prior to taking their EPA
