What will the apprentice be doing?

The day-to-day tasks of the apprenticeship will include, but not limited to:

  • Monitoring of inboxes (HRS and MEAM), recording information on relevant databases
  • Preparation of meeting documents for team meetings
  • Minuting team meetings
  • Raising orders and arranging payments?
  • Arranging meetings
  • Room bookings
  • Staff rota
  • Meet and greet in hub
  • Stock control

The successful client will not be involved with any clients, unless they express a wish to shadow a team member.

 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • ·       Level 2 Award in Operational Delivery (Principles)

    ·       Level 3 Certificate in Operation Delivery (Advanced)

    ·       End Point Assessment (EPA)

    ·       Functional Skills in maths, English if required

    ·       Regular training and development sessions to meet the needs of the employer and the apprentice

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity of full-time employment upon completion of the apprenticeship if available.

About the employer

We are a government funded team, based within Housing called Changing Futures Team. We have various strands to the team – • Rough Sleepers Team – this is a team of five, who engage with people who are street homeless. The aim of the team is to work with clients, with partners, to be successful in gaining some type of accommodation. This can include hostel provision or temporary accommodation • MEAM Team – this is a team of five, who engage with people who have suffered severe and multiple disadvantages. Many have addiction of drug or alcohol and will have suffered some kind of trauma during their lives. The aim of the team is to work with each person to improve their quality of life, their skills (such as managing money, reducing or ending addiction, reducing offending, managing a tenancy and so on) • Adults Social Care – this is a team of four, which includes two Social Workers, an Occupational Therapist and a brain injury specialist • Commissioning of services – this work often changes, depending on what services are being commissioned as part of the Changing Futures workstream
