We’re looking for those of you who are ready to make an impact in our business. As part of our Bright Futures Programme, you will join our 18-month Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship. We’ll encourage the development of your insurance knowledge and customer service skills to enable you to support all our customers through their claims journey. You will liaise with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, register or handle cases to progress claims in line with established standards etc.

What will the apprentice be doing?

In this Apprenticeship role, we’ll support you to:

  • Deliver good customer outcomes and improve customer experiences across all our relevant Claims journeys
  • Manage customer and third-party interactions in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Deliver high standards of customer satisfaction, in line with processes & procedures
  • Liaise with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Register or handle cases to progress claims in line with established standards
  • Assess claims against relevant criteria and experience to identify any potential issues
  • Use approved suppliers to ensure repair, replacement and supply of goods and services to customers and third parties
  • Proactively develop your skills and knowledge, applying best practice techniques to maximise your performance

We’ll support you to achieve the level 3 Insurance Practitioner qualification which includes the Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII) from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) as well as giving you access to excellent benefits as part of your career development, including:

Your programme is delivered through blended learning with virtual and in-person workshops. You will be given 6 hours per week to study towards your programme and qualifications.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

You will be a permanent employee from day one at RSA, so career options are in abundance. You could choose a technical Underwriting path, move into sales and business development, quality, and governance, or move through a leadership pathway. All RSA opportunities are in scope.
