What will the apprentice be doing?

As part of the Operations and Administration team based at the Leicestershire office, you will be working to support SkillBase First Aid’s network of First Aid and Fundamental Wellbeing Trainers right across the UK.

The role is varied, you will be working across; online management platforms, phone and online chat queries, ordering, stock control, and general office admin tasks. Alongside the O&A team you will be supporting the wider business to provide the consistent excellent customer service we are so proud of.

With full training and support from your team, the duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Check and action incoming emails
  • Speaking to customers by phone and using our website chat platform, Jivo
  • Using our customer relationship management (CRM) system and default diary to input, check and monitor data
  • Using our e-commerce platform to input orders for customers.
  • Organising orders for customers, pick and packing stock
  • Dispatching orders through Interparcel and post office drop-offs, including checks and follow-up on missing/delayed deliveries
  • Using our e-commerce platform to check stock control and create orders with suppliers
  • Booking consumables out for Trainers
  • Arranging preparation paperwork and resource packs for Trainers.
  • Processing post-course paperwork
  • Booking and monitoring observation days for licensed Trainers
  • Re-licensing paperwork for Trainers
  • Adding and monitoring our network of Trainers across our management system platforms
  • Re-issuing certificate requests
  • Printing certificates and letters

  • Functional skills in Maths and English if required
  • 5 Day courses with HOET
