What will the apprentice be doing?

Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Ensure that customers receive their orders on time
  • Support the team by helping with movement of stock coming in and out of the branch
  • Create a positive customer experience
  • Promote company products to customers and take their orders
  • Receiving, checking, and putting away of incoming stock (chase back orders)
  • Picking, checking, and packing of sales orders
  • Order stock from suppliers
  • Take incoming telephone calls/emails from customers and suppliers
  • Effective filing of company documents
  • Input supplier invoices/credits

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Your training will be provided by both your Employer and Grey Seal Academy. All training is delivered face to face at the workplace either on site or videoconferencing; this includes x1 training session and x1 coaching session per month. You will have access to an online portfolio and virtual learning environment to assist your training and assessment during your programme.
