What will the apprentice be doing?

  • You will assist the Manager in maintaining the back-end e-commerce platform.
  • Product titles and descriptions will be entered into the back-end system which is shopify.
  • Photographs will be uploaded after editing in either photoshop or similar software.
  • Cost prices, retail and gross profit will be calculated.
  • Prices will be compared to all of our competitors.
  • Barcodes for each SKU will be entered.
  • The item will be set live onto our website.
  • The item will be set live onto all other platforms which we sell on.
  • The products online will then have to be visually merchandised in seasons and collections.

Preferred skills will be knowledge of using Shopify (or similar platform), and Microsoft Excel. You will have a strong attention to detail, confident and articulate communicator with strong organisation skills.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Full training will be provided on site alongside level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship
  • Level 2 Functional Skills Maths and English (if needed)
