What will the apprentice be doing?

Your early days in the role will mainly be focused on learning what we do, how we do it and why. You will spend time in the various departments learning how they operate. 

The main duties of your role as customer service apprentice will include:

  • Talking to and advising customers
  • Processing orders
  • Handling customer enquiries
  • Coordinating deliveries
  • Following up on enquiries
  • Organising samples to be sent to customers
  • Working closely with our Telephone Account Manager to support daily business requirements

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the qualification achieved will be a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard.

The apprentice will be given sufficient time to complete the ‘off-the-job’ requirement of the apprenticeship during their normal working hours.

Throughout your journey you will be supported by both Fedrigoni Papers and BPIF Training. You will be assigned a training coordinator to ensure that you have the best training available. Training requirements will be discussed at the point of employment to suit your own development and the business needs. Most training and studying will be a combination of online group workshops and one-to-one sessions to ensure progress.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the learner will be offered a role to reflect their qualification and experience.
