What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Calling customers and confirming breakdown details including location, how many passengers and priority needs etc.
  • Using google maps to pinpoint accurate location and destination and save to the task on the bespoke APEX system so when the driver gets the job it will take him straight to scene
  • Taking calls in general for associated queries in the control room
  • Liaising with the senior controllers to make carious calls to drivers or customers on live jobs
  • Making and receiving calls from body shops and salvage agents in relation to vehicles on site due for collection or delivery
  • Taking payments over the phone using Worldpay system for any sales (batteries) etc.
  • Assisting control in identifying any priority needs by updating any info following a call
  • General associated admin tasks

  • Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
  • This qualification requires college attendance once per month
