What will the apprentice be doing?

You will be expected to-

  • Plan and supervise activities
  • Help children to learn numeracy and language skills through games
  • Uphold standards within the setting

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • An Early Years Practitioner Level 2 apprenticeship will be gained at the end of the 13 - 18 month period.
  • Training is all within the place of work. There is no need to go off-site, e.g. college. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

If level 2 is gained then progression onto level 3 after completion is a possibility.
