What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Taking incoming calls, directing to the correct contact as necessary.
  • Dealing with enquiries matching need to the correct rental product/service.
  • Establishing and maintaining client, supplier and colleague relationships.
  • Creating and maintaining client, supplier & vehicle records.
  • Work towards the successful achievement of team targets.
  • Co-ordinate deliveries and collections.
  • Manage complaints to ensure timely resolution.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be expected to work towards the Customer Service Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group.

As part of your apprenticeship, and dependent on your prior attainment, you may be required to complete maths and English Functional Skills which is an integral part of your apprenticeship. Upon successful completion you will be awarded additional certificates of recognition for these qualifications.

Things to consider

You should have a minimum of Grade A*- D/ 9-3 or equivalent in GCSE Maths & English Language. Prior experience of working with the general public would be advantageous but not essential. Your role will be varied and therefore you will need to be adaptable to change and willing to learn new skills. NOTE - There is limited public transport to this employers location but there is free onsite parking
