What will the apprentice be doing?

1.       Collating data to support Payroll monthly requirements – to include holiday averaging, National Minimum Wage, etc;

2.       General administration including monitoring and reply of emails, including responding to simple queries;

3.       Understanding and maintenance of the Payroll control sheets;

4.       Understanding and maintenance of Pension data by keeping updated with starters and leavers, contribution changes, etc;

5.       Monitoring and collation of starter and leaver forms, ensuring they are on the relevant Payroll checklists;

6.       Cross-referencing sickness data between intranet submissions and PeopleXD;

7.       Any other duties as reasonably required by your line manager;

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will gain your Payroll Level 3 qualification. A 100% tailored training and assessment program will be delivered to support you throughout your Apprenticeship, (21 months including endpoint assessment) topics covered include –
